Tomato Chutney

Tomato Chutney is very easy to prepare. Tomato Chutney will take only 15 min to cook and no much  ingredients required. It goes well with Idly, Dosa, Chapati and I have seen some people eating this Tomato Chutney along with Rice. Here shown is made only for two people. If you are making more you can raise the ingredients quantity.

Tomato Chutney recipe Ingredients:

Tomato : 2 medium sized (chopped in cube size)
Big Onion : 2 medium sized (chopped in cube size)
Chilly Powder : 1 tbsp
Garam Masala Powder : 1 tsp
Sambar Powder : 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder : 1 tsp
Oil : 3 tbsp
Mustard seeds : 3/4 tsp
Salt : As needed
Water : As needed

Method :
1.Keep the ingredients ready.
2.In pan heat oil and add mustard seeds let it splutter then add chopped big onion, fry sill the colour changes.

3. Once after the onion colour changes add tomato and fry till the raw smell leaves. Then add Chilly Powder, Garam Masala Powder, Sambar Powder, Turmeric Powder, Salt and give a stir.

4. After that pour required amount of water, stir it and close with a lid. Let it cook for 3-4 min in medium flame.

5. Once the water drains transfer into the serving blow.

Now the Tomato Chutney is ready to eat.

Serve hot with Dosa or Idly or Chapati too.

Notes:
You can adjust the spice level as per your taste.
You can also use only the Chilly Powder and skip the remaining.
If you are going to sever with Dosa or Idly, you can also grind it in Mixie (optional).
